  1. Step 1Setup
    • Adjust the cable machine to a low position and attach a rope or straight bar.
    • Set an incline bench at a 30 to 45-degree angle and place it in front of the cable machine.
  2. Step 2Position Yourself
    • Sit on the incline bench with your back against the pad and feet flat on the ground.
    • Grab the cable attachment with both hands, palms facing each other if using a rope, or palms facing up if using a straight bar.
  3. Step 3Start Position

    • Engage your core and maintain a straight back against the bench.
  4. Step 4Lower the Weight

    • Keep your upper arms stationary and focus on moving only your forearms.
  5. Step 5Lift the Weight

    • Ensure that you control the movement and do not let the weight pull your arms back too quickly.
  6. Step 6Repeat
    • Perform the desired number of repetitions while maintaining proper form throughout each rep.
    • Focus on controlled movements to maximize muscle engagement and minimize risk of injury.
  7. Step 7Finish the Exercise
    • After completing your reps, carefully place the cable attachment back on the machine.
    • Stand up from the bench, ensuring to maintain good posture as you do so.
