Follow these cues to master proper technique and stay safe through every rep.

  1. Step 1Setup
    • Step into the standing calf raise machine with one foot on the platform edge.
    • Position the shoulder pads on your shoulders.
    • Lift your other foot off the platform.
  2. Step 2Execution
    • Lower your heel below the platform to achieve a full calf stretch.
    • Push through the ball of your foot to raise your heel as high as possible.
    • Squeeze your calf at the top of the movement.
  3. Step 3Return
    • Slowly lower your heel back to the stretched position.
    • Keep the movement smooth and avoid jerking.
    • Complete all reps on one leg before switching.
